According to a new study, guys who do home improvement projects are 23 percent less likely to die young. Researchers think the results of the study suggest the key to good health is more about lifestyle than it is the actual work you’re doing around the house. Guys who fix stuff and build stuff are at least moving – which means they’re not spending each and every weekend sitting on the sofa

A new study says that the fear of bad luck really can be reversed by carrying out rituals like knocking on wood and throwing salt. The study from the University of Chicago found that these superstitions actually do ‘reverse’ perceivedlikelihood of bad fortune. Knocking on wood is the most common superstition in Western culture used to reverse bad fortune or undo a jinx.

The Chinese government is distributing booklets letting tourists know what behavior is not acceptable in their country.
Here are a few examples:
Do not pick your nose in public.
Keep your nose hair trimmed.
Don’t slurp your soup.
Don’t steal the lifejacket off of your airplane.

Experts are warning that iPads, tablets and smartphones are causing an epidemic of back pain! We spend hours hunched over our devices and a new phenomenon called iPosture is affecting a lot of us. 84 percent of 18-24 year olds have admitted to suffering back pain in the last 12 months. The results also showed almost all age groups spend as much time in front of a PC, laptop or tablet screen as they do asleep in bed.
